'Tis the Season! Not that you needed me to tell you that.. everywhere has blown up all things Christmas around you. Christmas can mean so many things to so many people, but I think weather you're Buddy the Elf or a Grinch we can all agree on one thing... $$$. Christmas is EXPENSIVE! So here are FREE or DISCOUNTED things you can do all season long that won't weigh down your wallet. Note: Most activities are in Utah




Tree Lighting at Traverse Outlets

Show starts at 6PM, and Santa's Tree Lighting-countdown begins promptly at 7!

 Family Christmas Gift Show
When: Nov 9-11 
Where: Mountain America Expo Center (South Towne) 9575 State St, Sandy, UT 84070

This event has over 450 shops! The event is full of shopping, entertainment, and specialty foods to get you in the Holiday spirit. You can learn all about this event here. This event is not a free one, but I have a discount code!

Festival of Trees
When: Nov 28th - Dec 1st. 10a - 9p 
Where: Mountain America Expo Center (South Towne) 9575 State St, Sandy, UT 84070

If you've never heard about the Festival of Trees then get your walking shoes and get ready to see some of the most beautiful decorative trees! The Trees are sold at opening night and all funds raised are "A Gift of Love" to children at Primary Children's Hospital. I don't have a discount code for this one, but I will tell you Wednesday, November 28! On Nov. 28th for $20 you can get a family ticket that admits 6 immediate family members, awesome deal! Tickets can be purchased here


 Santa's Wonderland at Cabela's

 I am basically amazed at this one! From November 11 - December 24 enjoy these FREE events, gifts, crafts, and more at Cabela's! Check out the scheduled events for your location and ENJOY

Eagle Mountain's Christmas Village
When: December 1st. 5:30p - 9p 
Where: Cory Wride Memorial Park. 6998 Six-Mile Cutoff Rd, Eagle Mountain, UT 84043

Eagle Mountain's annual Christmas Village, Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Boutique. The evening will include an opportunity to meet Santa and his Reindeer🎅🏽🦌. There will be a Mini Pony Carriage Ride, a Petting Zoo, Hot Cocoa & Donuts! BONUS - if you bring Santa a letter that includes your name and address, you will receive a return letter in the mail ✉️
Candlelight Christmas
When: December 7-22, 5p - 9p closed Sunday
Where: This Is The Place Heritage Park. 2601 E Sunnyside Ave, SLC, UT 84108

 This event will have you feel like you're traveling back in time with the villages decorated like a Currier and Ives card. There's a live nativity, carolers, shopping, opportunity to make crafts, and so much more! All details about this activity can be found here

Wild Wednesday at Hogle Zoo
When: November 28th, December 26th, January 30th, and February 27th
