Top 4 Food Apps Worth Your Time
Okay let's get real... who doesn't LOVE food? If you say you don't love food, you're lying. I am that person who has a dedicated folder on her phone of food apps. So here are my top 4 food apps that are actually worth your time.
4. Buffalo Wild Wings
Bdubs! The place to be on Tuesday and Thursday nights! If you don't know what I am talking about then you're welcome. On Tuesdays bone wings are 50% off and on Thursday the boneless (or as my hubby calls them flavored chicken nuggets) are 50% off! BUT let's talk app Blazin Rewards
- BWW app basically throws points at you. You get 10 points just for walking into their location
- Sometimes I open the app during lunch time and they give me points just for thinking of them, It's so sweet I know
- If you combine 50% off wing day and use your points for appetizers you just ate like a King my friend at a low cost!
DISCLIAMER - my only complaint is their points expire, so make sure you use them! For us that's not hard during March, since we don't have TV and watch all the games at BWW so we basically live there during the month.
You can download their app here: BWW App
3. McDonalds
If you say you're above McDonalds... you're doing yourself a disfavor. Everyone knows their fries are the best! But let's talk their app... when I talk about deals you can't afford to miss.. I basically mean the McDonalds app! For example current deals are
- Free medium fry with any $1 purchase
- $1 McDouble
- $3 off any $10 purchase
Like where was this app when I was in college!? I will say DISCLAIMER - I have noticed that when I try to pull up the deals in the restaurant I have a hard time.. Not sure if this is just a clever game McDonalds plays to get me into the restaurant without giving me the deal, or if my wireless network just 💩. I always screenshot the deal and bar code before making the drive now and it always works
ALSO BONUS TIP - If you ever check out their order here kiosks you will see ALL the dipping sauces they have to offer and they're pretty sweet options!

2. Chick-Fil-A
FIRST let me start by talking about the Chick-Fil-A calendar... if you don't know what this is, please be sitting down because I am about to rock your Chick-Fil-A world. Starting November (it's coming up so prepare people) you can purchase a Chick-Fil-A calendar directly from them and it's good for the following year. No, I am not just selling you a calendar with cows on it, that's just an added bonus. Inside each calendar is a card that gives you FREE FOOD each month! Every month is a different item! You just type the code form the card into your Chick-Fil-A app and BAM free offers EVERY MONTH! Sometimes the offers are lame, like any sized drink, but most months they're pretty great!

Alright now the app... here's why it's great
- Convenience - you can scan your app right at the register. NO dealing with receipts and points are automatically added to your account
- They have random giveaways ALL THE TIME. For example now through Sept 29th you can get a free 8 piece nugget (grilled or regular) just for scanning the app! 😱
- Earn points with every purchase and then chose your rewards for FREE FOOD items
- Birthday gift 😋

And finally my most recommended food app...
1. Costa Vida
Alright Utahns we all know you LOVE your Costa Vida. BUT did you know their app is probably one of the best out there? Here's why...
- You get $4 FREE just for signing up. Then every $1 you spend = 1 point and when you get to 50 points you get another $4 gift card. OH BUT WAIT that's not all!
- All the Costa Vida coupons and deals are directly on the app
- Like the random $5 burrito Tuesday! 🌯
- Or B1G1 FREE days
- Birthday gift is great too! If I remember correctly you get an additional $5 added to your account if you visit during the month of your birthday
- They have 2x, 3x and even 4x point days ALL THE TIME it's the best
You can download their app here: Costa Vida APP
I have to agree about McDonalds and their fries. I am not above eating their food. When I was traveling in Hong Kong I ate most of my lunches there. Now you got me hungry. Can't get out anymore so I'm wondering if I can get their stuff delivered :)
